Veterans day should be honored so people can remember the people that risked their lives to keep our country safe. Veterans day should also be honored for the veterans not for a day of work or school assembly. I used the American flag to symbolize what veterans fought for. When I made my military pin I used a blue background to symbolize loyalty, vigilance, perseverance, and truth. I used a gold font to symbolize honor, dignity, and achievement.
