Veterans Day Pin Description

Veterans should be honored because they worked very hard to fight and serve our country. Also, they have risked their lives to keep us all safe and we should not take that for granted. There are two symbols I chose for the pin. A Poppy flower and a star. A Poppy reminds Americans of the sacrifices made by our veterans while protecting our freedoms. A star represents a military family member that served our country. Two colors that I chose were Black and Blue. Black represents knowledge and jurisprudence. Blue represents infantry.
