Veterans Appreciation Pin

I made this pin the way I did because it is a little thank you to the people that put their life on the line for this country. My grandfather also fought in the Vietnam war. Also giving him a thanks. And the flag was for the iconic picture of the soldier in WW2 putting up the flag showing they were not scared and willing to fight. Also if I win the vet that wins it will be looking very good. And another reason i made it like that is because I know the pain they went through and how sad they must have felt when their friends died. That is a star reminder why we should thank our veterans because they are the reasons we live in a free country.
