Veteran Pin

My veteran pin shows the American flag in the middle. I tried not to incorporate just one branch, but all vets. The gold is representing honor for all who serve or served for our country. To make it personal for all veterans I wrote “Thank you Vets” in a white box. The red lettering stands for courage. Anyone willing to serve shows courage. The white box symbolizes remembrance. We will always remember those who fought for our country. I also include lyrics from the National Anthem. I chose to include “The home of the brave” lyrics. This seems like an important and strong part of the song. I chose blue lettering because it shows perseverance and loyalty. The hearts show appreciation for every veteran and their courage. This is why I chose red, it is a color that shows courage. I hope vets can wear my pin with pride.
