My Veteran's Day Pin

My Veteran’s Day pin symbolizes many things. In the center of my pin is the American flag. Originally the American flag was a representation of freedom and liberty. The 13 stripes symbolize the thirteen colonies and the 50 stars represent the 50 states. On my pin, instead of putting the stars on the flag, I scattered them around to show for all the veterans who were absent or missing after serving. I left the sections where the stars should've been blank on behalf of all the veterans who were lost and all their loved ones who suffered because of it.
