Veterans Memorial Day Pin

I chose the main shape to be like a crest/shield showing how soldiers protected us. I chose the classic red, white, and blue to show patriotism. I added a bald eagle with a flag to display freedom and the strength of this nation. I put very prominent claws on the eagle to show how America will not be ruffled and aggressed without a response. Open wings how it flies into the future like how we progress steadily in life-saving medicine for wounded soldiers on the battlefield and advancement in weapons technology to more efficiently protect this country. The 3 stars on the eagle’s flag symbolize the Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq wars. These wars are wars that we still have veterans alive from. Warriors to tell the tale of the battles. And of course I have the American flag to show the 50 states and the 13 founding colonies.
