Stars and Stripes Shield Pin

I created this pin to show the significance of the sacrifices veterans have made for us. The gray shield that I used as the base of the pin stands for the protection and stability veterans gave. The American flag pattern inside of the shield represents a sense of American pride and the freedoms veterans created. The decorative ribbon spread over the shield reads: “THANK YOU VETERANS” to remind all of those who have fought that they are appreciated. The blue stars also included on the ribbon stand for optimism and suggest that veterans be remembered in a positive way.
