Honor with Braille

Some soldiers come out of war completely blind, others, come out of war with damaged eyesight. It’s easy to forget the sacrifices and journeys that injured veterans have been through. My pin was created to honor those veterans who have lost their eyesight in battle. That’s why I included the words “Thank You” in braille. Other aspects of my pin honor soldiers and veterans from each branch of the military. A jet for Air Force, a spaceship for Space Force, a boat and buoy for Coast Guard, Navy and Marine Corps, as well as soldiers on the battlefield for Marine Corps and the Army, and lastly a tank symbolizing machinery used for battle. All branches were included to show that they are all important in the battles and successes of our country. Honor and appreciation is the goal of this pin.
