Not All Heroes Wear Capes

My design of this pin represents our veterans and how much we appreciate them. The dove in the corner of the pin represents peace, love, renewal, and spirituality. The golden cord represents Americans who have fallen in service to their country. My design is simple but I love it and I hope others do too. If you asked me what the first word that comes to mind when I think of all veterans, it would be brave, they protected us and defended our rights. It’s hard being in the Military whether you’ve been in war or not. I feel great appreciation for veterans because my mom and dad are veterans and served in the Air Force, being away from your family and friends is another hard thing about being in the Military. Our veterans make me proud and inspired to be a better person.
