Gold Veteran's Day Pin

This pin was created to honor veterans and show them gratitude. It utilizes the colors of our nation and gold to see the importance in the work that they do. I utilized the laurel to represent the triumph that was seen to protect our country and the hard work to get there. The star is symbolic in not only its use in our nations flag but also its meaning in the military. It’s surrounded by gold to represent fallen soldiers and filled in with the flag to honor the ones that fought for our country, including both ones that survived and didn’t. “Veteran’s Day” is on the top of the pin in gold to represent the simple, yet important meaning behind this holiday. It’s not super flashy, but it conveys the feelings of gratitude that should be felt towards those who gave their lives for the future of this country.
