Veteran Shield

This pin is a recognition to our vets through both symbol and color. The purple is in honor of those who received the purple heart, red for the poppy flower often associated with the military, and gold for the power and greatness our military holds. The symbols like the laurel wreath are significant because of their victory symbolism. A gold star is symbolism for those who were lost while serving. I feel a lot of veterans don’t exactly want a lot of attention for being a veteran so a design that is more simplistic and subtle they may enjoy more.
