Since my father was in the Air Force, this is a pin based on him and other veterans as a way to show my gratitude towards them. I put a lightning bolt because it symbolizes striking force and great power, which I thought symbolized the Air Force, veterans, and my dad very well. I also put a heart to show how much I appreciate veterans. Lastly, I put a star to represent how much gratitude I have for veterans from all branches of the military.
