Veterans Day pin

The reason that I chose the flag of The United States of America for my Veteran Appreciation project is that the flag symbolizes what our Veterans fought to protect. They fought for our freedom, justice, safety, and equality. They put their lives on the line for our country, risking being severely wounded or even killed. These Veterans had to be brave, dedicated, and had to persevere. The words on the side of the flag “Thanks Vets” intend to deliver a very personal message of gratitude. The reason I said this instead of just “Thanks” is because I want it to be personal to all veterans, living and deceased. In conclusion, I hope my pin is enjoyed and makes Veterans feel valued and appreciated.
