Veteran Appreciation

I created my pin to show appreciation and honor to our Veterans because they have sacrificed their lives and time to fight for our freedom, instead of spending time with family and friends. This is what the clouds symbolize to me. The anchor stands for stability, steadfastness, security, calm, and composure, which also keeps you grounded in the uncertain experiences of life. The anchor keeps the boat grounded just like it keeps us grounded in uncertain times in life. The boat represents how the veterans try to keep the world a safe and secure place, just like the boat gives people a safe and secure place to be. The sail represents exploration meaning to seek a final destination, and the Veterans destination secures our freedom.
