The Fallen

The pin design I created is meant to commemorate fallen veterans. An example of such symbolism is shown by the poppy in the background which is a common way to remember lost soldiers. The flag next to the gravestone illustrates that beneath the ground lies a fallen US soldier, honoring their sacrifice. The grass growing around the gravestone represents that even after their death their action’s effect on the world remain.
