Remembrance

This pin design was made in order to showcase the most admirable traits that, in my mind, all veterans share. I believe that it takes great strength and courage in order to volunteer oneself to defend the interests and ideals of the nation you live in. Those who serve also need to be unified in the face of danger to defend. Included in the symbolism of the design is a laurel wreath/ olive branches in order to represent victory in the name of peace, while the chevron near the bottom represents structure and order. The primary colors of the pin are clearly derived from the American flag, however small pieces of gold and green are included to symbolize prosperity and growth.
