Sword and Shield of the USA

My pin symbolizes that the military both shields the nation’s borders and fights for its ideals. Both those still serving and the veterans of the United States have made sacrifices to keep us safe. They keep all of our rights and ideals safe. In my pin, I put 10 stars to represent the Bill of Rights. I also added 6 stripes to represent the 6 branches of the United States military. The sword represents our offensive capabilities, and the shield represents our defensive capabilities. The colors that I chose to use for this pin were red, white, and blue. These colors are the colors that our nation, the United States of America, uses for its flag, and since the pin is meant for the veterans of our nation, I thought this would be good for the design as a whole.
