Thanking our U.S. Veterans

The design of my military Veteran pin is from a story told to me about about my great-great-grandfather who was in the United States Navy and was serving on a military ship during a bad storm. He accidentally slipped and fell into the water. He spread out to float on his back and was caught in a net. He knew that someone would come and rescue him. About 15 minutes later the Navy noticed that he was missing and found him floating in the water. They got him out of the water and back on to the safety of the ship. I decided that I was going to honor him and his story by designing a veteran pin for him and all veterans who have served our country faithfully.
