Veterans Coin

This pin is inspired by the American quarter. Instead of "In God we Trust," it says "In Veterans we Trust," and "LIBERTY" lines the top. The pin has 119 ridges just like a real quarter. I chose to make the central contour a dove to represent the peace and freedom that veterans have fought to protect. 13 stripes line the background and 13 stars circle around the edge of the quarter to represent the American flag. I added this to show how the United States has transformed greatly since the 13 colonies, but has always protected the same ideals of freedom and liberty thanks to our veterans.
