Stars of Freedom

This pin will honor those who risked their lives to protect their homeland. The most obvious detail, being the American Flag-with exactly 50 stars and 13 stripes, not to brag-symbolized the most expected. How the veterans once served in the name of red, white, and blue. A much deeper meaning, and less obvious, being the pink and red hearts surrounding the flag. The pink hearts symbolized the beating hearts of the nation who survived while the dark red hearts symbolized the still hearts whose blood were shed for our country and will forever be held in remembrance. As for the stars, they symbolized the oppression that the veterans have liberated us from, hence the name. In short, the veterans have served a lot when it comes to what they gave for this country and deserve some recognition. Starting with a pin.
