Hope and Resilience Pin

This pin features a shield resembling the American flag to represent the defense offered by these veterans for our country. The sword and anchor aren't specific features that belong to a branch of the military despite the anchor being used in Naval and Marine Corps imagery, but instead these symbols are included to represent hope and resilience. The anchor represents hope through its ability to secure its user in its place, refusing movement even in harsh conditions. The Symbol of hope is appropriate here as our armed services give us hope for the future, knowing we are protected more than sufficiently from danger. The sword is a symbol of resilience. It is a tool used for sustained periods of combat and can be used through skill to overcome adversity. overcoming adversity is done often as a serviceman or woman faced with the daily difficulties of protecting and serving your country.
