A veteran means a lot to me because a lot of my family was in the army and my Opa as well as my Dad was a veteran. I chose a star because it represents hope. What a veteran means to me is bravery and courageousness. The U.S.A on the pin is United States Of America. The reason the colors on the star is blue, red, and white is for the american flag.
