My Great Grandfather was the inspiration behind the design of my pin. He was a sergeant in the Army and an engineer in the Navy. The United States flag represents those veterans who served in all branches of our military. I believe all Veterans deserve a medal and a pin to be remembered by and we should all thank them for their service.
