Veterans Appreciation

Love for the country and the passion to sacrifice everything for it is something we learn from our veterans. They are our role models who inspire many young minds, like mine, to serve the motherland. My pin is a small gesture of gratitude to these brave men and women. I have chosen purple as it symbolizes all the branches of military viz. the Army, the Marine Corps, Navy, the Air Force, Space Force and the Coast Guard. It also represents sacrifice. The pin bears the proud national flag, our national symbol. The two crossed guns represent courage and power. The stars symbolize the achievements of these brave hearts. The red poppies are a mark of honor and pride. I have summed up my feelings in the three words - Love, Respect, and Salute for great valor and sacrifice.
