Treasure Of The Sea

This pin has been delineated to highlight aspects of US Navy veterans and to display gratitude. With this design, I assured that every fragment contributed to making a Navy veteran feel appreciated. The anchors attached to the body of the pin symbolize the US Navy. The stars as the ring of the anchors and on the inner portion of the shell represent the veteran’s connection and dedication to the United States. The seashell shows a sailor’s connection to the sea, and the resilient wills that all US Navy veterans behold. The heart-shape of the shell is to showcase persistent gratitude. The “Veteran” portion attached to the right anchor faces downward upon the opening of the shell, as it expresses our fallen veterans never being left behind in our memory. The pearl indicates the US Navy slogan “Forged By The Sea" and the importance of treasuring our veteran seamen.
