My appreciation for veterans

In my pin design, I made it the shape of a heart, symbolizing my appreciation for veterans, and showing how they've cared for us by keeping us safe. I chose the red, white, and blue colors, as they are the American flag colors and show how much freedom they've fought to give us. I also gave it a gold rim on the outside, to represent those who have died fighting for us. I also added poppies, because of how they grew after world war 1, coming to be a symbol of the bloodshed that happened on the field. And the text saying “Thank You Veterans” may be simple, but I chose it because there are not enough words to show my appreciation for the veterans.
