Stars of Honor

I designed my pin in this way because red, white, and blue symbolize the colors of the U.S. and the characteristics of the veterans that put there life on the line fighting for our country. The red signifies hardiness and valor, white represents purity and innocence, and blue signifies vigilance, perseverance, and justice. The words at the bottom are just a few traits that these veterans have shown while serving for our country. The stars symbolize gratitude for their service, and the 11/11 symbolizes when the Allies signed a ceasefire agreement with Germany at Compiégne, France, at 11:00 a.m. on November 11, 1918, later resulting in the end World War I. I hope my pin is able to relate to a veteran and let them take pride in what they did for this country. Thank veterans, you have really made an impact on protecting this country.
