The name stars relates the families who died and the families who are still in service i chose the colors gold,dark blue/navy blue,red ,white and gray I decided these colors because the color gold stands for all of the fallen service members and their families the color blue stands for trust, loyalty and stability and the color ed stands for life and courage the color white stands for purity and innocence and the color gray stands for intelligence the flowers symbolize for the veterans who gave their life to protect us and keep us safe the stars represents people leaving their homes and families to protect us and keep us safe thats why I designed my pin the way I did
