Heart of this Country

My pin has lots to represent, First is the red poppies. The Poppy honors the people that have died for our country. It is also a symbol to the soldiers that had fought in the war. Next thing that my pin represents is the eleven stars. The eleven stars on the flag represent the eleventh hour on the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918. On that day they came together to sign the peace treaty. The flag has thirteen stripes to represent each of the thirteen colonies that fought against the British Monarchy and became the first states. The colors represent something too. Red means hardiness and bravery , White symbolizes purity and innocence, Lastly blue represents justice and perseverance. The quote “Heart and soul of this country.” means that they are very important to the USA and we wouldn't be here if it weren't for them.
