A Pin To Those Who Have Served

In my pin, there were many references to all sorts of important symbols to America and the military, the most obvious being the American flag which holds many meanings. These meanings range from more discreet symbolism such as valor and bravery to the more obvious such as us declaring independence from Great Britain. My pin's main color scheme also includes notorious USA colors such as red, white and blue along with stars to represent the 50 stars on the flag. My pin also includes an American flag known as the “Thin Line” flag. This flag represents support and solidarity with service personnel who have been injured or lost in service but the line I decided to show is used to represent and stand for those who have been lost in war. Finally, the star symbol at the top was inspired by the roundel of the USA military.
