My pin design is a red shield with a national blue heart in the top left corner. The heart has six white stars on it. The shield also has white letters that spell “Valued Veteran” to display that the wearer is a veteran and that we value them. The shield is used to demonstrate how the veteran fought to defend our country and the red represents the blood that was lost in doing so. The heart shows that a love and value our veterans and the blue represents the veteran's perseverance just as it does on the flag. The six white stars represent each branch of the military and the white is to resemble the flag. The white of the lettering is to show our respect to the veterans who sacrificed it all.
