VETs: Shields of Freedom

This pin is for those who sacrificed their lives defending this country, and for those who aren’t the same after they made it back. Veterans should be honored because they fought for us to keep our country free. Most sacrificed something be it their eyes, limbs, or even their life for us. I used 3 symbols in my pin that are perfect for commemorating veterans. The first symbol is the star, used in the military to denote ranks. The second is the heart, which I used to symbolize the appreciation veterans deserve. The third symbol is the shield, which represents the protection they gave us. In the pin, I also included 3+ colors that represent qualities of veterans. I will only cover 3. The first is blue which represents loyalty, and truth. The second is red, which represents courage and fortitude. The third is gold, which represents dignity, and honor.
