Veterans, we’ve all heard that term somewhere be it at school, in the park, at a meeting, anywhere! Veterans deserve to be honored, respected, and represented. They are strong-willed, brave, and courageous. They fought through the dark to get to the light and they won that war.
The reason I chose the colors I did was because of America’s classic red, white, and blue. Was because they fought for our country and made us how we are today. Though they may not show often, when they do, tell them thank you, give them a warm welcome, and don’t be afraid to give them a hug if it looks like a bad day for them!
The star represents rank, the heart represents our love for the veterans, and the sword represents the battle they fought to give us the freedom we have today.
