Fields of Peace

Veterans should be honored because they dedicated their lives to our country. They sacrificed everything they knew and loved for our freedom. They woke up every morning not knowing if they would survive to see the next day. Those veterans did all of that for America. They deserve to be celebrated so that's what we do 11/11. We celebrate all of the battles fought, veterans still with us, and the veterans who aren't . We honor them by thanking them for their service. The military has lots of symbols in their designs. For example; For example, every color in the national flag represents something America has. White signifies purity and innocence; red, hardiness and valor; and blue signifies vigilance, perseverance, and justice. Poppies mean remembrance and hope of peace. I used poppies and the national flag in my design.
