Thank You Veterans

When you think about honoring veterans your mind probably goes to people putting flags outside their house or ceremonies. Your mind will probably not go to pins but, any small thing we can do to help our veterans are worth it. They are the reason we have all our freedoms and rights. They have left their family behind to serve their country. I put stars on my pin to represent the 50 states that the veterans fought so hard to protect and the beacon of hope they give us. I wrote “Thank you for everything” to thank them for protecting the country and everything else they do. I used three colors on my pin. I used blue to represent the veterans' loyalty and vigilance. White represents the peace that we have in our country because of veterans. Red represents courage and fortitude.
