Thank you for your service

When you think about honoring veterans you are thinking of people who risked their lives for our freedom. These are some reasons you should honor veterans. They help keep everyone safe. Also, life could be hard on them after the war so we have to make it up to them by celebrating Veterans Day. For my pin I used two symbols. First, I used text on the pin and said, “Thank You For Your Service.” I'm thanking them for serving our country and giving us freedom. Also I put stars on there to represent the many nights they spent out there fighting. I used 3 colors to represent veterans. The first color I chose was blue, which is symbolic of loyalty, vigilance, and truth. The second color I chose was red which denotes courage, and fortitude. The last color I chose was white which alludes to deeds worthy of remembrance.
