"Duty, honor, country: Those three hallowed words reverently dictate what you ought to be, what you can be, what you will be.”-Douglas MacArthur. Why do we honor veterans on Veterans Day? Veterans have given so much to protect our freedom, we can never fully repay our debt we owe to these brave and courageous men and women. Also because leaving your loved ones isn’t easy. “The red and white, and starry blue - is a freedom shield and hope.”-John Phillip Sousa. The American flag represents the 13 colonies, the original 13 states of the US. Stars representing the 50 states of America. When making my 3D design I used Navy & Gold. I used the navy, because it means trust, we put our trust into our troops. I used gold because it means generosity..veterans were very generous risking their lives for our freedom.
