Stars and Stripes

Veterans are to be honored. They put their lives on the line every day to protect our freedoms. They keep us safe and allow us to live ordinary lives. Without them, most of us wouldn’t even be alive, or at least have our freedoms, today. Without our veterans we wouldn’t be the people we are today. The flag on the pin represents the country our veterans defend, along with the freedoms they give us. The purple ring on the pin represents the branches of the military protecting our country. I chose to use the colors red, white, and blue. These colors represent America, the country our veterans protect. I also chose the color purple, it is the color of representing all branches of the military.
