Gratitude to the Stars

We should honor veterans because they risk their lives to protect our country and our freedom. They leave their friends and familys to risk their lives and go fight for freedom. It can be scary being transported to another country and not knowing if you will live through it or not. I'm using an American flag in my pin design to represent the country our veterans fight for. Also, there are stars in the design to show renewal or happiness that the veteran’s sacrifices bring to our country. I am also using the phrase “Thank you Vets” to thank the veterans. Some of the colors on my pin are red, blue, and white. The red represents the background of the flag and the pin. The blue represents the color of the square that holds the stars on the flag. The white is the color of the stars.
