America's Stars

Veterans do a lot for our country. They had to leave their families so that we could live safely with ours. For my pin, I used my own form of symbolism with shapes. The rim around the pin is to represent the protection and safety that Veterans provide. The stars on my pin represent the American flag and what it stands for. On my pin, I used the colors red, white, and blue. These are the same colors used on the American flag. The red is for hardiness and valor, the white is for purity and innocence, and the blue for vigilance, perseverance, and justice.
