Veterans pin

There are many reasons why veterans should be honored all year. Veterans should be honored because they left their family behind knowing they may never see them again. Veterans also put their life on the line for the U.S. citizens and a lot of the citizens they don't even know. For these reasons veterans should be honored all year with full respect. The 2 symbols that I chose to put on my pin are the American flag and a star. I chose the American flag because it represents our United States of America and our veterans. I chose the star because it represents the amount of people serving in your family. The three colors that I chose to use include Red, Blue, and White. Red represents courage and fortitude, while blue represents loyalty, perseverance and truth. White represents the actions completed by veterans and that are worth remembering.
