Veterans pin essay

Veterans should be honored because not all people have the courage to risk their lives for the sake of their country. These people have gone through some of the hardest times so we don’t have to. They have left behind, family, friends, pets, etc. to serve our country and protect it. They should be honored because of that and more. I chose the symbols of stars and hearts. Hearts stand for love, appreciation, and joy. Stars represent medals, and the stars on the American flag. The heart represents our love and appreciation for the veterans for risking their lives wherever they go. The stars represent the 50 states, which means a veteran can come from anywhere. I chose the colors red and blue. Blue represents the loyalty and perseverance of veterans. They stay loyal to their country no matter what happens. Red represents courage. They need courage to stay loyal.
