Veterans should be honored because they risk their lives for our freedom. They leave their families to serve our country. Without veterans we would not have the freedom we have today.Veterans work very hard and deserve to be honored. I used stars because they are on the American flag. The American flag represents our country. I made the stars white because that's what color they are on the flag. The stars represent the 50 states that our veterans serve or served. I used the colors red white and blue. The red is on the text I made that says “veteran”. Red represents hardiness and valor. Blue is in the background of the pin. Blue represents vigilance, perseverance, and prejudice. White is the color of the stars. White signifies innocence,and purity.
