Love for Veterans

On my pin I chose two important symbols, the American flag and the heart. The heart means love, appreciation, gratitude and joy. We express these feelings for the veterans. The 50 stars on the American flag symbolize the 50 states and the 13 stripes symbolize the 13 colonies. I chose these symbols because we love the veterans who fought for America. I chose the colors red, white, and blue to go on my pin. Blue symbolizes loyalty, vigilance, perseverance, and truth. Red denotes courage, zeal, and fortitude. White alludes to deeds worthy of remembrance. I chose these colors because these can all be words to describe veterans.
