Thankful for Veterans

One symbol I used in my veterans pin is the shield. The shield is a symbol that means protection, safety, and shelter. This symbol means a lot to veterans because they gave up everything so friends, family, and even people they don't even know in the USA can feel the protection the shield represents. I also used stars because they mean many things. From medals, flags, and denoting rank, even emblems and logos, stars are all around in the US military and veterans love the symbol. One color I used is red, red is symbolic of courage, zeal, and fortune. Another color I used was gold, gold represents achievement, dignity, and honor. These are good colors to represent what veterans fight for.
