Freedom Flowers

Veterans should be honored because they risked their lives for us. They fought for us and the freedom we have today. They go into battle not knowing if they will come out alive, leaving family, and friends. They also helped and protected other countries as well. One of the symbols I chose were flowers. I chose these because they remind me of Flanders field poppies to remember United States soldiers who passed. I also chose the words ``I Am A Veteran”. I chose this to let people know that a person is a veteran and to respect them. One of the colors I chose was blue because it means loyalty and veterans are loyal. I also chose red because it means courage and veterans had the courage to go into battle. I chose white as well because it means remembrance and how we remember the fallen soldiers today.
