Veterans are the true heroes

In my pin I used a lot of symbolism. I put “I AM A HERO” on my pin, because the definition of a hero is “a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.” (According to the Oxford dictionary.) Veterans and active service members fit the definition perfectly. They are very courageous because they risked their lives and knew the risks of joining the armed forces and joined regardless. I used red, white, and blue for the background, because they are the colors of the U.S. flag. Blue stands for perseverance, red is for valor, and white stands for pureness. I put the two soldiers silhouettes one male, and one female because it takes all types of people to run the forces. No matter your gender, skin color, sexuality, or personal background.
