soul of the soldier

I chose this particular shape because it reminded me of some kind of medal that a veteran would get. 3 stripes line the wall of my pin. The first red line represents the sacrifice that the soldiers risked for us. The white line represents the innocent soul of the soldier that laid down the rest of their life for our country. Then there is the second red wall. It represents how close many of our soldiers were to passing. And behind the four walls lay a reservoir of blue. It represents the many tears shed by the families who had to suffer through the loss of their loved ones. In the center of this vast ocean lays a white box containing a star. It represents the optimism for a better future that veterans from all across America fought for.
