Pins for Veterans

Veterans Day is an important day of the year and should deserve all the appreciation it can get. With that in mind creating and designing this pin, I wanted to make it special, but yet simple. The heart shape I chose for the overall pin with layered red, blue, and white represents a veteran’s love of the country and willingness to serve our country for the common good. Of course, the overall colors I chose were red, white, and blue to show our country's colors, along with the heart shape that shows the love we have for our country’s veterans. The extra stars I decided to add along on the pin and a keychain-like star at the end shows how even in the darkest of times, they shine when we can, they protect and serve for us which makes them true stars.
