Veterans pin

A shield is the shape of my pin design. It represents how veterans protect our country by putting themselves in harm's way. Two stars are placed on each side of the shield, one blue, one gold. The blue star represents veterans who died in battle and sacrificed their life for this country. The gold star represents all past, current, and future veterans. In between the stars is a sign that says “Thank you vets”. This shows gratitude and appreciation for veterans. Above the sign is a heart. This shows our honor, respect, and love for veterans. Six lines are placed around the pin. These six lines represent all of the branches of the military. Below the stars, a U.S. flag is placed. This represents the country that these veterans protect.
